In December 2013 I launched the exhibition Joining Hands around the World, which featured print exchanges that I had taken part in during the previous fifteen years, at the Hahndorf Academy. The image above is called Ouroboros, from the ‘myths’ exchange, one of several that I did with the SSNW print exchange that is held twice a year at the solstice. It’s actually a digital print, but I made it by putting the paper through the printer a separate time for each colour, so I would say it’s more like a lithograph. The registration isn’t perfect, and the colours are printed in layers, unlike a normal digital print. I also forgot to give the Chinese dragon whiskers!
